-
Can anyone see my plans?
Only if you want them to. You have full control over whether or not your chosen heirs can see what you're planning.
-
Why would I want to turn transparency settings ON to make my plans and wishes “visible” to specified Beneficiaries?
We encourage transparency. We want to help you start meaningful conversations. That said, your privacy is of the utmost importance to us, so the choice is in your hands: visibility of everything in your vault is turned “off” by default. However, it is important to consider that the most commonly documented reasons for heartbreaking family turmoil —fractured relationships, leading to costly legal disputes, in the wake of the loss of a loved one— are a direct result of a lack of open honest communication about end-of-life planning. By sharing your intent with your loved ones, now; you can preserve your legacy and prevent volatile misunderstandings and costly mistakes for your heirs in the future.
-
Can I use ExecuVault to help my parents organize their wishes?
Yes! You may serve as an XV Proxy for a family member, provided they have authorized you to do so. Safeguards are in place for their protection.
